It may sound cliche but it’s true, Paris is a city like no other. There’s just something about it that keeps you wanting more. Whether that be its rich history, abundant beauty or exquisite cuisine, it surprises you each time as you discover quaint streets and new nooks around town and experience the diversity this city has to offer. With so much to see and do you may be asking ‘Where do I start?’. Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered with our favourite spots and shops that will leave you falling in love with this is city within a heartbeat – after all it is the city of love right? If you have a day in Paris, this is your ultimate guide… 

BREAKFAST.

Mornings usually have a late start. Parisians are all about waking up late and enjoying the morning. But in saying this, breakfast can become hard to come by. Make your way to Cafe De Flore for a latte and croissant (but save your appetite for lunch!). Not only is this cafe one of the oldest coffeehouses in Paris it’s also a popular celebrity hotspot! 

MORNING ADVENTURES.

After a heavenly coffee, enjoy the rest of the morning taking a stroll over banks of the river Seine to Jardin des Tuileries. Soak in the stunning beauty of lush trees and perfectly symmetrical alleyways. If you are an art lover, these royal gardens are also home to two museums where you can admire work of the of Monet. A quiet moment by the fountains is also the perfect place to relax as you take in the mesmerising sights. 
When in Paris, it’s only fair to do a little bit of shopping (and by a little we mean a lot!). The stores will be calling your name nearby at Rue-Saint Honore. Soak in the grand white Parisian buildings and pop into the biggest labels in fashion. Balenciaga, Chanel, Chloe – you name it! These upscale luxury stores are set up in the most stunning boutique stores that will leave you walking out with many bags for sure!

LUNCH.

Sunday in Soho is the perfect lunch spot, injecting a little bit of New York City in Paris. Good food, electric atmosphere and most importantly it’s very instagrammable!

AFTERNOON ADVENTURES.

Continue your day by visiting the Musee Nissim de Camondo, one of the most elegant house museums of decorative arts. This privately owned mansion still remains in its original condition, showcasing exquisite tapestries, furniture, paintings, mirrors and other decorative elements – it’s the perfect place to collect some inspiration for your own home!

DINNER.

After a long day out, you should make your way back to your home away from home for the night, The Peninsula Paris!
